Questions about the new General Data Protection Regulation
Why does SMART SET want my consent now?
SMART SET has always been concerned with protecting your personal data, requesting only the data strictly necessary, maintaining the updating of them and adopting internal security policies, in compliance with the best practices and applicable legislation. Recently, the EU has adopted the RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) that gives data holders a number of new rights. One of the main changes is the obligation to obtain the free, specific, informed and explicit consent of data holders for activities such as Marketing and satisfaction surveys, avoiding abuse in the sending of unsolicited messages.
What if I don’t give my consent now?
The RGPD (General Data Protection Regulation) becomes applicable on 25 May 2018, which means that if you have not given your free, specific, informed and explicit consent to that date, you will no longer be able to receive our communications with Activities for your company by email, phone or other mode.
Why are you asking me for my contacts if I’m already a customer and I gave them to you?
In order to ensure the security and legitimacy of your personal data, they are not automatically filled in. We request that you fill in the respective fields in order to update your personal data on our systems.
What can you do with my personal data if you give my consent?
